Tesoro Live at Sea of Glass: A Night in Tucson

August 29, 2026 | Sea of Glass Center for the Arts

There are certain shows that remind us why we started making music together in the first place.

Saturday night at the Sea of Glass Center for the Arts was one of them.

Back home in Tucson, surrounded by friends, family, longtime supporters and new faces, Tesoro took the stage for a night that brought together so many pieces of what this band has become—Spanish guitar, rumba, rock, Latin rhythms, soaring vocals and the energy that only happens when a room and a band completely connect.

The Sea of Glass gave us the opportunity to stretch out and present the music as a full concert experience. From the quieter moments built around guitar and voice to the percussion, horns and full-band arrangements that have increasingly become part of the Tesoro sound, the night felt like a snapshot of where we've been—and where we're headed.

We revisited music that has been part of our story for years while also bringing newer material and arrangements to the stage. Songs like “La Rosa,” “Rust & Rhythm,” “Ecos de la Vida” and “Navegando el Mar” represent a newer chapter for Tesoro: one that still carries the Spanish guitar foundation at the heart of the band, but isn't afraid to push further into rock, funk, Latin and cinematic territory.

And on a stage like Sea of Glass, those songs came alive.

More than anything, though, the night belonged to the people in the room.

Tucson has been home to Tesoro from the beginning. This community has watched the band evolve through different records, different stages, different lineups and countless shows. Getting to bring this version of Tesoro to a hometown audience—and feel that energy coming back at us—made August 29 something we'll remember for a long time.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and shared the evening with us, to the Sea of Glass Center for the Arts for welcoming us, and to every musician and crew member who helped make the show happen.

We're also thrilled to be able to share these moments captured by photographer Guillermo Soberon Tirado, whose photographs perfectly captured the color, intensity and atmosphere of the night.

This next chapter of Tesoro is already underway.

Thank you, Tucson.

We'll see you at the next one.
